Quick start guide

Go from signup to your first AI-generated SaaS blueprint in under 10 minutes. This guide walks you through the entire process step by step.

Step 1 — Create your account

1

Sign up at planmysaas.com

Visit planmysaas.com and click Start Free. You can sign up with Google or email. Your 7-day free trial starts automatically — no credit card required.

2

Your workspace is ready

A default workspace is created automatically when you sign up. You can rename it anytime in Settings → Workspace. All your projects live inside workspaces.

💡

You get a 7-day free trial on every new account. No credit card is required. After 7 days, subscribe to keep full access or your project sub-pages will lock.

Step 2 — Create a project

1

Click '+ New Project'

From the sidebar or Projects page, click + New Project. You'll be taken into the planning wizard.

2

Complete the Idea step

This is the most important step. Describe your SaaS in plain language — what it does, who it's for, the core problem it solves, and your business model. The more context you provide, the better every generation will be.

3

Fill in the remaining wizard steps

Work through Categories, Target Users, Core Modules, Technical Preferences, Monetisation, Competition, and Constraints. Optional fields can be left blank — Nova will make reasonable assumptions based on your idea.

💡

You don't need to complete all wizard steps before generating. You can run research or architecture at any point and return to add more context later.

Step 3 — Run your first generation

1

Use 'Generate All' for the fastest result

Once your idea is saved, click Generate All. This runs the full pipeline: Research → Architecture → Feature Specs → Technical Design → Phase Plan → Prompt Pack. Takes 2–5 minutes.

2

Or run individual stages

Navigate to any section in the project sidebar (Architecture, Features, Prompts, etc.) and click its individual Generate button. This lets you regenerate specific sections when you update your context.

3

Review your blueprint

Browse your Architecture, Features, Prompts, and other sections. Each page shows the AI-generated output with options to copy, export, or regenerate.

Step 4 — Use your prompts

Navigate to Prompt Studio in the project sidebar. Your prompt pack is organised into categories — Master System Document, Core Modules, Backend, Frontend, Database, Authentication, and more.

Copy any prompt directly into Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, or your preferred AI coding tool. Each prompt is copy-paste ready — no prompt engineering required.

💡

Start with the "Master Operating Prompt" — paste it first to give your AI coding tool full context about your product before running module-specific prompts.

You're all set. Continue to the next guide to learn how to create professional project blueprints.
