DEFINITION
A research-backed composite of a specific user type within your ICP — their role, goals, pain points, tools, and decision triggers.
In depth
Unlike an ICP (company-level), a persona is a human-level profile. Good personas come from real interviews, not workshop whiteboards. They answer: what does this person do every day, what frustrates them, what do they hire a product like yours to do?
Limit yourself to 2–3 personas per product. More than that and messaging splinters.
