Nova AI Assistant
Use natural language to trigger any generation step, navigate your project, or ask product strategy questions — directly from the header.
What is Nova?
Nova is your always-on AI command panel inside Plan My SaaS. Access it by clicking the AI button in the app header (right side of the top navigation bar). It's accessible from any project page inside the platform.
Nova is fully aware of your current project — it knows your idea, wizard data, architecture, features, and generation status. You can use it to trigger generation steps, ask strategic questions, or navigate to any section of the platform.
The keyboard shortcut ⌘⇧A opens and closes Nova from anywhere inside the app.
How to open Nova
From the header
Look for the AI button on the right side of the top navigation bar (it shows a sparkle or bot icon). Click it to slide open the Nova panel. The panel appears as a full-height side drawer.
Keyboard shortcut
Press ⌘⇧A (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+A (Windows/Linux) to toggle the Nova panel from anywhere inside the app.

Quick actions
When you open Nova, you'll see a row of Quick Action buttons above the chat input. These are one-click shortcuts for the most common generation tasks: Run Research, Generate Architecture, Write Feature Specs, Technical Design, Phase Plan, Generate Prompts, and Run Full Pipeline.
Click a Quick Action button to instantly trigger that generation step without typing anything — Nova will confirm and start the task immediately.
Conversation history
Nova keeps a full conversation history saved to your browser's local storage. You can browse past chats, switch between conversations, or start a fresh chat anytime using the + New Chat button in the history panel.
- Each conversation is automatically titled based on your first message
- Up to 20 conversations are stored per device
- Conversations are currently scoped to the browser — not yet synced across devices
- You can delete individual conversations from the conversation list
Product strategy questions
Nova knows your product, not just the platform. Ask it strategic advice and it will respond with your specific product in mind. For example: “Should I use a monorepo for this project?” or “How should I approach pricing for the Indian market?”
