Social & channel management

Connect your social media and content channels, schedule posts, manage approvals, and track performance — all from inside PlanMySaaS.

Connecting channels

Navigate to Growth Engine → Channels to connect your social media and content platforms. Each channel represents a destination where you can publish content.

1

Click 'Connect Channel'

Select from the list of supported platforms.

2

Authenticate

Follow the OAuth flow to connect your account securely. PlanMySaaS requests only the minimal permissions needed to publish content.

3

Configure defaults

Set default posting preferences — timezone, content format, and branding options.

Social media management

The Social section in the Growth Engine lets you create and schedule social media posts:

  • Create posts for individual platforms or cross-post to multiple channels
  • Schedule posts for optimal engagement times
  • Preview how posts will appear on each platform before publishing
  • Manage a social media calendar with drag-and-drop scheduling

Content calendar

The Calendar view (Growth Engine → Calendar) shows a visual calendar of all your scheduled and published content. Features include:

  • Monthly, weekly, and daily views
  • Color-coded by content type and channel
  • Click any scheduled item to edit or reschedule
  • Drag and drop to change publication dates
💡

Use the calendar to ensure consistent posting — gaps in your calendar mean gaps in your audience engagement. Aim for at least 2-3 content pieces per week.

Approval workflows

The Approvals section (Growth Engine → Approvals) provides a review queue for content that needs approval before publishing. This is especially useful for teams:

  • Team members create content drafts
  • Content is submitted for review by the workspace owner or designated reviewer
  • Reviewer can approve (moves to scheduled/published) or request changes
  • Content revision history is tracked for accountability

Approval workflows can be enabled or disabled per channel in Growth Settings.

Analytics

Growth Engine → Analytics provides performance metrics for your published content:

Content volume
How many pieces you've published over time (weekly, monthly trends).
Channel performance
Which channels are generating the most engagement.
Content type analysis
Which types of content (blog, social, thread) perform best.
Publishing consistency
How regularly you're posting and any gaps in your schedule.
